Brandon Victor Dixon and Valisia LeKae have been expel as Berry Gordy and Diana Ross in “Motown: The Musical,” a Broadway show’s producers said.

Based on a life of iconic strain noble Gordy, a uncover is to open during a Lunt-Fontanne Theatre Apr 14.
Additional casting will be announced shortly, a musical’s producers pronounced Monday.
Dixon warranted a Tony Award assignment for his opening in “The Color Purple” on Broadway and perceived a Drama Desk Award assignment for his work in “The Scottsboro Boys” off-Broadway.
LeKae has seemed in a Broadway musicals “The Book of Mormon,”"Ragtime,”"110 in a Shade” and “The Threepenny Opera.”
Directed by Charles Randolph-Wright, “Motown: The Musical” will underline a book by Gordy, and strain and lyrics from Motown’s famous strain catalog.
Gordy helped settle a careers of Diana Ross and a Supremes, Michael Jackson and a Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson and a Miracles and Marvin Gaye.
